about me

Hi! I'm AnnaScott, and I am so glad that you're here.

I am a brand and lifestyle photographer who loves natural light, candid pictures, and little details. Whether it be highlighting the intricate details of a cake or posing a couple for a portrait, I thrive on creating content that is visually engaging while aesthetically pleasing.

My journey to becoming a professional photographer began while I was growing up. I've always been a reader, and one of my favorite things to do now is find stories and tell them with pictures. Stories have the power to create connection and build community, which is ultimately my goal in life.

I started photography in high school, and started pursuing it seriously while studying health communication and public relations in undergrad. I was able to use it for a variety of different projects while getting an MBA and a Masters in Public Health from Campbell University (roll humps!), in addition to using it for work and volunteer opportunities.

When I'm not chasing people with a camera or trying out new editing techniques, I am most likely reading a good book, exploring a new coffee shop, or spontaneously lecturing those around me about topics ranging from the importance of shopping locally to the dangers of not getting enough sleep.
